Poleco 2025 was held from 14 to 16 October at the Poznań International Fair.
During the fair, our experts, Filip Gabryelewicz — Business Development Director, and Robert Makieła — President of the Management Board, actively participated in the Circular Economy and Recycling Cluster session, organized by the National Key Cluster.
The program of the session included presentations and debate on the effective management and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries. Filip Gabryelewicz presented a modern recycling plant in Wszemirow, equipped, among others, with an installation for dismantling batteries, where recycling processes are monitored and controlled using artificial intelligence. President Robert Makieła discussed the systemic challenges of the industry, paying particular attention to the need for stable regulations, market education and cooperation between science and business for the effective development of the circular economy in Poland and the EU.
Discussions during the session stressed that an effective recycling system requires integrated action by all market participants, based on technological innovation and transparent policies.
Wastes Service Group encourages contact and exchange of experiences and invites you to follow up on further actions supporting the transformation of the recycling industry towards a circular economy.
