Wastes Service Group at the ELEC Expo in Casablanca - dialogue on critical raw materials and the future of the market

Wastes Service Group's participation in the ELEC Expo in Casablanca includes discussions on critical raw materials, battery recycling and stable supply chains for energy and electromobility.

The presence of the Wastes Service Group at the ELEC Expo in Casablanca was an opportunity for intensive discussions on the key challenges facing the energy, electromobility and circular economy sectors. The WSG stand has become a natural reference point in discussions on critical raw materials — from their recovery, to recycling, to the stabilization of supply chains on an international scale.

The focus is on issues related to the growing role of lithium-ion batteries, responsible management of spent resources and the need to build resilient recycling infrastructure. Talks with partners from different markets have confirmed that access to secondary raw materials and advanced processing technologies are becoming one of the pillars of energy and industrial security.

Poland's perspective on the international scene

Wastes Service Group also took part in the official presentation of Polish companies on the VIP stage. The event was opened by Ambassador Tomasz Orłowski, and among the participants were also representatives of institutions supporting the development of economic cooperation, including Jan Bochniak from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and Mateusz Rykała, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Górnośląski SA Fund.

The presentation was an opportunity to show the competences of Polish companies operating in the field of modern technologies, recycling and raw materials of the future, as well as to emphasize the role of Poland as an important partner in European and international value chains.

Networking and regional cooperation

An integral part of the presence at ELEC Expo were networking meetings, including the Czech-Polish Networking Cocktail, co-organized by CzechTrade and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). The event attracted representatives of business and institutions, creating a space for conversations about potential areas of regional cooperation.

Face-to-face meetings and exchanges of experience have confirmed that the development of the battery and critical raw materials recycling sector requires dialogue across borders and the building of lasting relationships between industry, public institutions and technology partners.

Conversations that translate into real action

Thank you to everyone who visited the Wastes Service Group booth and participated in the meetings and discussions. They were substantive, concrete and full of potential for further action. The ELEC Expo in Casablanca confirmed that the future of the energy and electromobility market is based on responsible management of raw materials and proven, ready-made technological solutions.
