According to the Act of 29 July 2005 is equipment which is dependent on electric current or electromagnetic fields in order to work properly and equipment for the generation, transfer and measurement of such currents and fields and designed for use with a voltage rating not exceeding 1000 Volt for alternating current and 1500 Volt for direct current, falling under categories set out in the Annex 1 to the Act. Group No. Kinds of electric and electronic equipment. Group 1. Large household appliances (e.g. refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers, dish washing machines, cooking, electric stoves, microwaves, electric heating appliances, electric radiators, electric fans, air conditioner appliances, exhaust ventilation and conditioning equipment), Group 2. Small household appliances (e.g. irons, toasters, fryers, scales, grinders, coffee machines and equipment for opening or sealing containers or packages, electric knives, vacuum cleaners, appliances used for sewing, knitting, appliances for hair-cutting, hair drying, tooth brushing, shaving, massage, clocks), Group 3. IT and telecommunications equipment (e.g. computers, laptop computers, notebook computers, printers, copying equipment, electrical and electronic typewriters, pocket and desk calculators, facsimile, telephones other products or equipment of transmitting sounds, images or other information by telecommunications), Group 4. Consumer equipment (e.g. radio sets, television sets, videocameras, video recorders, hi-fi recorders, audio amplifiers, musical instruments), Group 5. Lighting equipment (e.g.luminaires for fluorescent lamps with the exception of luminaires in households, straight fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, high intensity discharge lamps, including pressure sodium lamps and metal halide lamps, low pressure sodium lamp), Group 6. Electrical and electronic tools (with the exception of large-scale stationary industrial tools) (e.g. grills, saws, sewing machines, equipment for turning, milling, sanding, grinding, sawing, cutting, shearing, drilling, making holes, punching, folding, bending or similar processing of wood, metal and other materials), Group 7. Toys, leisure and sports equipment (e.g. electric trains or car racing sets, hand-held video game consoles, video consoles sports equipment with electric or electronic components), Group 8. Medical devices, with exception of all implanted and infected products (e.g. radiotherapy equipment, cardiology, dialysis, analyses, laboratory freezers alleviating illness, injury or disability), Group 9. Monitoring and control instruments (e.g. smoke detector, heating regulators, thermostats), Group10. Automatic dispensers.
